On March 26th, 2023, the Interact club of Cathedral and John connon school and the Interact Committee of Rotary Club of Bombay started a seven-month drive to provide a healthy breakfast to 500 kids in the age group 3-13 in Dharavi slums which is estimated as the largest slum in Asia.

The breakfast is carefully planned by The Breakfast Revolution (TBR) and aims to address the deficiencies in children due to poor eating habits / malnutrition.

TBR provides healthy snacks that are labelled by the day of the week. Before starting the distribution drive, every child was examined by TBR volunteers for his / her weight, height etc. as a part of the baseline study. After seven months, children will be examined again.

For the first month, as the Program Director of GiveBack Foundation, Tia Bhatnagar, supported the drive with the fund raising of Rs 1.6 lacs.

For the remainder months , this drive was supported by funds that were raised by the high school students of The Cathedral and John Connon School through crowd funding.
